If you take it at face value I think its a winner. Simplifying the rear creates new possibilities for frame design. Thats what its all about in a not shell.
But I think that eventually the likes of the internal/hub based system will have to win over (at the moment its more a case of wont than cant on the part of the big gear manufacturers) I mean if you showed a derailleur-open cassette setup to someone who had never seen a bike before they would be thinking "thats crazy, wouldn't it get stuff caught in it, get all dirty and that thing that hangs down, would that not break" and guess what he would be right . . . . I think bikes are one of the only, if not the only mode of propulsion where the transmission is left exposed and in many ways they take the most abuse . . .well mountain bikes at least
CTD, its just simplifying what pretty much every Fox fork has. I would be all for it expect that the only reason Fox designed it was to say "hey look at our new 2013 fork, you better spend a ridiculously high amount of money and replace your perfectly good 200X-201X fork"
And the remote? Really? Is taking your hand off the bars for a second to flip a switch that tricking? if so you shouldn't have shelled out the kind of Money needed to own a Fox fork in the first place because more than lightly you wont get the use out of it over a cheaper one. Shit there a guys out there that have damaged or ever lost an arm and still rip it up.
Sick Riding! And what I wouldn't do for a Session 9.9 right now.
Such a slick bike!
I cant help think that Mountain Biking (in whatever form) is really just beginning to explode and reach out to more people or people who have never riden before. "It's like a rock concert" really kinda somes up where the sport is going except that with riding we can all get up on stage straight after bike up a bike and ride those same lines the pros just did . . . Movie Looks epic, looking forward to it.
Been looking for a dependable adjustable seatpost (doesn't have to be remote) but as you can image I haven't got too far. Thinking of either a Reverb or a Specialized Command Post. Anyone care to chip in their 2 cents on these 2 or on something better that i've missed. Cheers

I love my 2010 Trek Tuned RP23 but i'd never dream over upgrading, 400 odd quid!!? I serviced mine a while back and I was expecting all sorts of black magic inside but to me they seem deceptively simple on the inside, And the is Kashima coating . . . im sure it makes for a slightly smoother ride but to me it just seems like unnecessary bling. I'd rather see better value for money than gold coatings . . .
